Education and Workforce Alignment Dashboard

The Education and Workforce Alignment Dashboard provides insights into how Virginia's higher education institutions align with job demands across different geographic regions. Users can view data through four regional lenses and choose from 115 VOEE occupational groups. The dashboard visualizes the correlation between programs of study and occupations, showcasing occupation demand data, projected job changes, incumbent workforce wages, and graduates' annual earnings indexed to county self-sufficiency standards. It provides a unique analysis of how regional diversity is mirrored in college graduates and relevant local jobs. Drawing from multiple data sources like the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV), American Community Survey 5-Year, Lightcast’s Open Skills Taxonomy, and the Registered Apprenticeship Partners Information Database System (RAPIDS), this dashboard offers a comprehensive analysis for informed decision-making.
